Hi! I’m Emily!

I am a photographer based in Birmingham Alabama, specializing in capturing organic love. My work has been featured on both local and international wedding blogs, and I have had the pleasure of working all over the southern United States. When I’m not behind the camera I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, practicing yoga, eating dark chocolate, listening to Taylor Swift, going on road trips, and binge-watching Gilmore Girls.

I stepped into the world of photography when I was 14 years old and my grandfather, who has been a lifelong photographer, took me under his wing and began teaching me everything he knew. When I was about 16 I discovered my love for wedding photography, and followed every wedding blog I could find. I saturated myself in education from wedding professionals, and finally launched my own business in 2011. I have never looked back since, and my passion for this beautiful art continues to grow every day. I am so lucky to get to do something I adore!

I absolutely love story telling, capturing those candid, in-between moments, and making every shoot feel relaxing and fun. I want to showcase each of my couples’ personalities and unique love stories in a way that feels true to them, while capturing memories that will last a lifetime!
